Welcome
At the Royal Coachman, the feel of stepping into an authentic British Pub begins with its settings- A landmark Victorian era manse that dates back to 1868. Constructed by William Heisse, it was first named the Right House Hotel in 1875. After the sale of the hotel to Patrick Kirk in 1888, the building was bricked and renamed the Kirk House Hotel, remaining in the family until 1966. In 1896, travelers paid 3 cents for a glass of whisky and $1.50 for a room. in 1995, the charm and character of this historic landmark helped to transform it into a British Pub, where you will find traditional fare and an extensive selection of fine imported draught beers.
